Payment Clerk
Toronto

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets students and visitors, and presents the positive and professional image of the organization;
  • Collaborates with the Accounts Receivable team to maintain collection goals;
  • Ensures the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records;
  • Investigates collection problems and advise students/resellers on corporate A/R policies and procedures;
  • Posts students/resellers payments in EDMISS by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions;
  • Processes direct payment collections from students: approaches students to coordinate payment of overdue balances and maintains a high quality of customer service;
  • Verifies cash collected, creates deposit slip for cash received; and generates cash reports on a daily basis;
  • Prepares credit letters for resellers and students;

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum College Diploma in Business/Accounting;
  • Minimum 1 year of direct working experience in A/R  field;
