Dream House
  • Cancellation fees will be waived for those reservations cancelled prior to 30 days from the scheduled arrival date. Otherwise, the first 4 weeks will not be refunded.
  • Visa Denial and Visa Delay policy: If the student has their visa denied or delayed, a 30-day written notice is required in order to receive a refund. If the student fails to give 30 days’ notice, the first 4 weeks will not be refunded.
  • Adults only.
  • Check-in is at 4:00 PM on Saturdays only.
  • Check-out is at 10:00 AM on Saturdays only.
  • No refunds are made after check-in.
  • Non-refundable $200 deposit. Additional fees may apply.
Parkside Student Residence

Vancouver Residences

GEC Viva Student Residence
  • Availability can change quickly and rooms are not held for room quotes. Rooms will only be held once a booking request has been made. 

  • Minimum stay is 5 weeks. No prorated rent available.  

  • Check-in after 4:00 P.M. and Check-out by 11:00 A.M.

  • Cancellation policy:

    • Visa Deny and Visa Delay: if the student has a visa denial or delay, a 30-day written notice is required in order to receive a refund. If the student fails to give 30-days notice, the first 4 weeks will not be refunded.

    • Before Check-in: a full refund will be processed if the student’s cancellation notice is received at least 30 days prior to arrival, otherwise, no refund will be made.

    • After Check-in: Minimum 61 days written notice before check-out date is required to process a refund and damage deposit may not be refunded.

  • Administration fee :$50 (non-refundable)

  • Damage Deposit:

    • Damage deposit can be paid only by credit card.

    • Damage deposit is fully refunded to tenants within 2 weeks after check‐out date if there is no damage made to the residence.

    • The processing fee will apply to deposit and rent payments by credit card and by wire transfer ($15 per transfer).

    • Processing fees are non‐refundable.

  • Additional Fee may apply.

GEC Pearson Student Residence
  • Availability can change quickly and rooms are not held for room quotes. Rooms will only be held once a booking request has been made.

  • Minimum stay is 8 weeks. No prorated rent available.

YWCA Hotel

Please Note: Availability can change quickly and rooms are not held for room quotes. Rooms will only be held once a booking request has been made. A reservation # will be assigned when a room is being held.

  • Fee: Once a reservation # has been assigned, a deposit equivalent to the application fee of $220 per student is required for all bookings.
  • Cancellation: All reservations are subject to a $220 cancellation fee. Should the student cancel a confirmed booking of any kind, the $220 is nonrefundable. If the cancellation is made because a student has been refused a visa, this charge will be waived if the hotel is notified at least 3 days in advance of the student’s arrival and if a document supporting that refusal can be provided.
  • Change: If a student books for specific dates and then changes dates prior to arrival, a $50 change fee will be assessed. If the student arrives, checks into a room and later changes that room for any reason (size, location etc.) a $50 change fee will also be assessed.
  • Early Checkout: In the event that a student arrives and checks out in advance of the original check-out date, an early check out fee may be assessed and charged. For students paying a resident rate, this fee will be calculated based on the time stayed (in 30-day increments) plus $100 for each month cancelled. If the student is paying a weekly rate, this fee will be calculated based on the time stayed (in 7-day increments) plus $100 for each month cancelled.
  • Internet Cost: Wireless Internet access is available in our lobby and in our rooms at no extra cost.
  • Non-smoking: The YWCA Hotel is a fully non-smoking facility. Guests must exit the building completely should they wish to smoke. Any guest found not complying with this policy will be asked to leave immediately and the school will be notified.
