New ILAC Pathway Partnership with Ontario Tech University

ILAC has a new pathway partnership with Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario. Ontario Tech is one of Canada’s top ranked universities and a popular choice for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and health-care programs.

 

The new agreement allows for ILAC students who complete ILAC Pathway Level 3.3 to enter Ontario Tech bachelor programs.

 

“Oshawa is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada because of its proximity to Toronto and affordable housing,” says Carolyn Bercu, Director of Pathway Programs at ILAC. “I had the opportunity to tour the cutting-edge facilities last semester and the research and projects taking place at OTU are impressive. I believe Ontario Tech is one of the best kept secrets in Canadian higher education.”

 

Ontario Tech has had the highest increase of applications of any university in Ontario for Fall 2022. According to the Ontario University Application Centre, Ontario Tech enrollment applications increased by 33.4% since last year.

Founded in 2002 as the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), the university was rebranded “Ontario Tech University” in 2019.
