ILAC Update: Visas, Pathway Programs & English Testing

Just because the world is on “pause” doesn’t mean international students can’t begin their studies in Canada. Check out the latest good news for students who were planning to come to Canada in 2020.

Study online now and come to Canada later

Canada has relaxed its immigration rules for international students. Students who received a study permit for Spring 2020 are now permitted to do 50% of their programs online.

International students who complete half their program online and the rest in Canada may still be eligible for the Canadian Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) at public post-secondary institutions.  Read the full story in the ICEF Monitor.

We asked our friends across Canada to join us in singing the national anthem.
And although we may sing out of tune, we are still stronger together.
