Join international education colleagues and staff around the world for the first ever ILAC Virtual Run. Participants can run or walk as part of the global movement to promote health and wellness during COVID-19. The purpose of the event is to bring together the international education community during these challenging times. The virtual run consists of three distances: 5km, 10km or for those feeling ambitious, a half marathon of 21.1km. The run can be completed by running, walking or by wheelchair.
Running is considered an excellent way to help boost serotonin in the body, relieve stress, improve sleep and help maintain a healthy weight. Training for the ILAC Virtual Run begins this week and ILAC is encouraging participants to share their progress along the way with videos, photos, and testimonials using the hashtags #ILACrun, #ILACSafe, and #bettertogether.
Participants will be added to a mailing group to stay connected, share training updates and gain expert advice.
