As the end of May approaches, Torontonians embrace the warmth and welcome summer by having a refreshing drink and delicious food on a patio.

Nothing compares to having dinner on the 51st floor in one of Toronto’s trendiest neighbourhoods: Yorkville. The breathtaking view of the city will pair beautifully with the exotic cocktails and dishes prepared at this patio restaurant.

Overlooking Dundas Square from the third floor of 10 Dundas Street East, this location opens its patio for the public to enjoy during the summer. If you’re looking for a casual restaurant to eat and have drinks, this is the place to be! You could also visit the smaller patio at the Jack Astor’s right beside the ILAC advanced building.

5. Drake Sky Yard

Sky Yard: Oasis

Open year-round, it’s never too cold for the rooftop patio at the Drake hotel. Serving a young, hip crowd, this place is a great destination for meeting new people over brunch.
