Just because the world is on “pause” doesn’t mean international students can’t begin their studies in Canada. Check out the latest good news for students who were planning to come to Canada in 2020.
Study online now and come to Canada later
Canada has relaxed its immigration rules for international students. Students who received a study permit for Spring 2020 are now permitted to do 50% of their programs online.
International students who complete half their program online and the rest in Canada may still be eligible for the Canadian Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) at public post-secondary institutions. Read the full story in the ICEF Monitor.

Score = 9 | Equivalent to IELTS 7.0 |

ILAC has developed a number of proprietary tests for students to determine their level and measure their progress online, including the full suite of practice tests – KET, PET, FCE, CAE, IELTS & TOEFL. Take the free ILAC online self-assessment level test as a guide.
Canada continues to have travel restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Until further notice, most people cannot travel to Canada, even if they have a valid visitor visa or electronic travel authorization (eTA).
