We are very excited to share the great news that ILAC has opened a school in the lovely city of Whitehorse, Yukon! Canada’s true North!
Bordered by the U.S. state Alaska to the west, the Northwest Territories to the east and British Columbia to the south, Yukon has over 33,000 inhabitants. With a population density of 0.06 people per km², ILAC Yukon is proud to welcome International students from all over the world!
Due to Yukon’s mild subarctic climate, characterized by long cold winters and brief summers with an average temperature of -20 °C, ILAC Yukon will be running a year round winter program for all the adventurous language learners looking for something more off the beaten track.
The breathtaking and pristine natural landscapes of this land are unreal: snowmelt lakes, tundra, volcanoes, magical Northern lights, and not to mention the gorgeous white-capped mountains (eight of which are Canada’s ten highest mountains). This is a nature buff’s heaven!
As ILAC Yukon’s tourism motto is “Larger than life”, we have many fun activities and social events to offer you. Imagine embarking on subarctic grizzly bear safaris, trying your hand in an ice fishing competition, or swimming in hot springs after you’ve returned from a successful day of coyote hunting!
And that’s not all! If you’ve got some energy left over on the weekend, ILAC’s adventurous activities staff will lead you on an exciting afternoon of snowmobiling, dog sledding and ice climbing! Learning English has never been more wild!

This is an April Fools’ Day Joke! Most of the people won’t read this, so share with your friends and have a laugh at their reactions! 🙂
