Air Canada Supports International Students at ILAC Pathway Institutions

Press Release

Earlier this year, ILAC Education Group and Air Canada signed a joint agreement to support international student travel to Canada. Now any student with a valid study permit for an ILAC pathway institution in Canada is eligible for a 15% discount on international Air Canada flights.

The partnership with Air Canada will significantly help international students who are planning to come to Canada. To be eligible for the discount, students must be registered to study at ILAC or one of ILAC’s 80 college or university partners across Canada.

“Since the pandemic began we have had over 10,000 students enrolled at ILAC KISS, our virtual school,” says Jonathan Kolber, CEO of ILAC. “Many of them are in the ILAC pathway program and are planning to start their higher education in the coming months. We are pleased to work with Air Canada to further support international students in achieving their dreams of studying at top universities and colleges in Canada.”

The Air Canada promotional rate is available until December 31, 2021. All flights must be booked by June 30, 2021 on www.aircanada.com or with an Air Canada approved travel agent.

“Students prefer Air Canada for its bio-safety and reliability,” says Virgilio Russi, Vice-President International Sales at Air Canada. “We are very pleased to partner with ILAC and offer a discount to help offset some of the increased costs of testing and quarantine requirements during this time.”

International students continue to be permitted entry into Canada as long as they have a valid study permit for an approved designated learning institution. Currently, both ILAC Toronto and Vancouver are closed for in-person classes. All programs are being held online until the end of the month or until further notice for the government.
