Tim Roy (Program Manager) Tim has a B.Comm from Queen’s University and a TESOL Diploma from Trinity College. He has taught English in Japan, the U.A.E., the Czech Republic and Canada over the past eleven years, in addition to time spent in the private sector. He has taught at high schools, colleges, and private language schools, all age groups and levels. He has been training teachers for 5 years, and has presented teaching workshops. Melissa Leonituk (Trainer) Melissa has a BA in English Literature with a concentration in Linguistics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified member of both TESL Ontario and TESL Canada. She has been teaching English as a second language for the past ten years. She has taught in the United States, Japan, and Canada. In addition to teaching, she has organized and developed classroom and testing materials for standard ESL courses as well as specialized courses such as Pronunciation, Conversation and Writing. Robert Black (Trainer) Bob has a BA from the University of Pittsburgh with a Dual Major in English (Writing) and Philosophy. He received his TESL Canada certification from ILAC in 2003. Bob has taught in Prague, the United States and Canada in a variety of institutes: private schools, colleges and in public programs. In addition, he has been a TESL Practicum supervisor for the past three years at ILAC. He has also developed and created classroom materials and curriculum for specialized courses such as Super-intensive Workshops and Creative Writing programs. Marcio Yoshiyuki Yudo (Trainer) Marcio earned his B.A. in Business Administration in Brazil in 1991. Following a career in the field of Human Resources, Marcio then taught EFL and ESL for seven years in Brazil and in Canada. In Brazil, he was also an instructor and examiner for the University of Michigan Proficiency Examination. He is currently Assistant Director of Studies at ILAC.

Josh Pirie (Trainer) Josh is a linguistic specialist with seven years' experience in ILAC's testing program, preparing students for tests such as TOEFL, GMAT and TOEIC. Josh graduated with a B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1996. He has taught ESL, TESL, and test-prep both in Vancouver and in Toronto. He is also the author of two student grammar manuals and a pronunciation web page, for both TESL trainees and advanced students of English preparing for the TOEFL. Neil D’Souza (Trainer) Neil graduated with an MA in English Literature from McMaster University in Hamilton in 1998 and has taught ESL for over seven years, in Toronto, the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia. He has also taught Business English at a leading mutual fund company in Toronto. Over the years, he has taught students from a variety of ages and at a range of levels, from Beginners to High Advanced. He currently teaches at ILAC and develops tests and materials for the Advanced level.

Greta Borick-Cunningham (Program Manager and Trainer) Greta has a Bachelor of Teaching and a Masters in Education specializing in Teaching Second Languages from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia and a CELTA qualification from Language Studies Canada in Toronto, Canada. Greta has worked in the ESL industry since 1999 and has been an educator in vocational education since 1992. She has taught in Australia, Japan and Canada. Greta has held various teaching and management positions over the years in each of these countries including managing four branch offices of a vocational institute in Australia, training ESL teachers in Japan, Head Teacher and Academic Director in one of Canadas leading ESL schools. She has conducted training sessions in TESOL specifically in speaking and listening skills, reading and writing as well as provided professional development for resident teachers. Greta has taught ESL students from many countries around the world and many levels, from beginner to advanced.
Ian McKinnon (Trainer) Ian has a B.A. and B.F.A. from the University of British Columbia in English and Creative Writing and delivered TESL training at various language schools and later upgraded his training with the International Language Academy of Canada. Before starting with ILAC he was a TESL instructor with other organizations and has trained hundreds of student teachers who are now teaching ESL all over the world. Ian has taught in Japan, helped open an ESL school in Vietnam, and taught for Toronto ILAC as well as teaching ILAC Vancouver’s Business English Program. He has worked as an Academic Director and developed specialized programs for other schools. Ian is currently teaching the Business English program and TESOL/TESL for ILAC Vancouver.
Chris-Anne Stumpf (Trainer) Chris-Anne received her BA and her MA in English from the University of Windsor. She began teaching a variety of courses including ESL in 1985. Determining that what she enjoyed the most was teaching ESL she enrolled in the University of Saskatchewan's TESOL programme and received her certificate in 1998. Chris-Anne has taught all levels of ESL (from beginners to graduate students) with students from a multitude of nationalities and backgrounds. In addition she has taught ESL in Canada and Hong Kong and in a variety of settings: high school, college, university, international schools and immigrant programs. Chris-Anne has successfully defended her doctoral thesis in English Literature specializing in Folklore.
David Cunningham (Trainer) David has a B.A. from Queens University and has received TESL Canada level 3 certification. He began his career in ESL in Japan in 1999, where he served as an ESL instructor, as well as an Assistant Trainer, administrator and curriculum developer for the childrens program. Upon returning to Canada in 2001, he has been active in the field of teacher training and professional development. David was appointed teacher/trainer and activities director for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Winter Camp training Korean teachers in 2005. David currently teaches ESL and TESOL at ILAC Vancouver.
