TESOL Diploma

bullet ILAC’s 100 hour TESOL course has been the choice of hundreds of teachers. You get the theoretical foundation and practical classroom management experience to start your new career with confidence. Learn the principles of communicative ESL education while building up your knowledge of the intricacies of English grammar.
bullet ILAC’s TESL Diploma is recognized by TESL Canada and can help you work anywhere in Canada and worldwide. You can make a difference in people’s lives and start the most rewarding career you’ll ever have.
bullet The ILAC TESL Diploma is a 100 hour course plus a mandatory 20 hour practicum.
 
Requirements
bullet Native-Speaker applicants must complete an oral screening interview with the Program Manager either in person or over the phone.
bullet University Degrees are not required to register in the ILAC TESOL Diploma course, if the student has completed high school or equivalent. (NOTE: TESL Canada membership requires a university degree.)

bullet English Requirements - Non-native speakers must submit official documentation of their English level which may include:
  • TOEFL iBT 80 overall with a min. score of 20 in each area.
  • IELTS - 6.5 overall.
  • High school graduation from a high school in Canada, including minimum English Grade 12 score of 70%.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree from an English-speaking university.
bullet Other proof of English level may be acceptable. Contact ILAC for more details.

bullet Monday to Friday 2:15 to 7:15 pm.
