Must-See December Events in Vancouver

To some people, December mainly means holidays, family and friends, and the beginning of winter, but in Vancouver it means a month filled with so many great events and activities happening all at once, you’ll have to plan ahead! Here we highlighted six activities you must do before the year is over!

1.    Rogers Santa Claus Parade (December 6th)

Dozens of festive floats will be spreading the holiday spirit through downtown Vancouver, accompanied by over 3,500 participants including bands and choirs, and over 300,000 spectators! Don’t miss one of the biggest celebrations in Vancouver, where the whole city comes together to welcome the most beautiful time of the year!

The holiday season brings an atmosphere of enchantment to the Capilano Bridge, decorated with lights and overlooking an illuminated rainforest, cliff face, and river at night! After walking across the bridge, you can visit the Winter Pavilion for more fun holiday activities but, before leaving, make sure you check out the tallest living Christmas trees in the world!
