1. Toronto Christmas Market at The Distillery District

This seasonal market, inspired by traditional European celebrations, is the perfect place to feel the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy great food, listen to traditional carols and even take a photo with Santa! 2. The National Ballet of Canada: The Nutcracker

A holiday classic tale, The Nutcracker, is brought to life by the incredibly talented performers of The National Ballet of Canada. Join this magical journey and be blown away by the delicate choreography and costumes, and the enchanted scenery that will take you all the way to the palace of the Sugar Plum Fairy!

3. Ice Skating at Nathan Phillips Square

Ice skating is a great way to stay in shape during the holidays while having lots of fun with your friends! And it’s even better at Nathan Phillips Square, where local DJs play great music and the whole ice rink is decorated with Christmas lights. On top of everything, you can rent your skates there too!

4. Toronto Christmas Festival (December 12th to 21st)

Dundas Square is always fun and entertaining, and during the holiday season it will be your go-to place with live music, food vendors and laser shows every night! Don’t worry about the cold, because hot chocolate and marshmallows will keep you warm!

5. Vaughan Menorah Lighting Ceremony (December 9th)

Gather together for the official Menorah Lighting Celebration at Vaughan City Hall! Traditional snacks, games and music will represent the beginning of this eight-day long celebration.

6. Bloor-Yorkville Holiday Magic

Very close to our school, right in the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood, you can enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights wrapped around decorated trees and lamp posts while roaming around and visiting the shops, restaurants and coffee shops of one of Toronto’s most beautiful villages!
