Tartu is an 18-storey, co-ed residence for students, 459-room shared-apartment style residence situated on the corner of Madison Avenue and Bloor Street West, across the street from the Faculty of Education building and a short walk to Robarts Library, the Athletic Centre, and all other campus facilities.
 
The Residence commands a central position in the city on the north end of University of Toronto campus, making it a desirable place for students to live.
